Hayden’s Possible Engagement Ring?

engagement ringsThe star from television’s hit show Nashville, was spotted on the red carpet on Tuesday at the ABC upfronts in New York City wearing a very large and very sparkle band on her right hand.  There has been much speculation that the star, who has admitted several times to wanting a family and settling down, is engaged to boxer Wladmir Klitschko.  The star who revealed just a month ago that she really wants to become a mother and wife, has been spotted with her on again, off again boyfriend lately, and many are speculating that a wedding is in the couple’s future.

The event was the first time Hayden has been spotted wearing a ring that could be the special engagement ring although it doesn’t seem like the typical Engagement Rings we see.  Many people are wondering if this ring is actually the engagement ring or if it is simply something pretty that Panettiere likes to wear.  Speculation has been made to whether or not the diamond band that includes four or five rows of diamonds is actually an engagement ring.

Steel buildings offer protection that you cannot get out of other types of buildings. The durability of steel will outlast all other materials. I once heard a story about a man that had built his shop with steel. When a storm came his family stayed in the shop for the added protection a large tree fell across the home and demolished it. Yet the shop with its steel structure stayed intact. When you want to be protected I think the choice is obvious of what you want to be protected by. We have all heard the story of the three little pigs and the wall he tries to blow the house down. When you have a structure that is made of steel you have that kind of protection. And when it counts is definitely worth it. Another quality that steel offers is that steel is not flammable. It does not add fuel to a fire like other materials do. Wood Is used in fires all over yet we continue to use it as a building source all of the time. Using steel does take a little bit of time planning in order to have a structure manufactured for your needs. Still needs to be prefabricated in both structures. Yet with new added possibilities of cold pressed steel it begins to become more readily available. As the price continues to be in comparison and the demand continues to grow it is very likely that new construction will continually convert over to metal buildings and structures.

The new steel bridge that is being constructed in my town is made of steel and very nice looking but I am scared that the steel will not hold up under these conditions. I have witnessed huge storms cross this bridge and the wind is very very strong.  I need to know that the General Steel company will be able to support this bridge enough so that it does not get blown over.  There are hurricane force storms around here because we are so close to the ocean. I want there to be a safety presentation put on by the construction company that assures everyone that the bridge will be safe during the stormy season.  I know that the old stone bridge was getting up there but it was solid.

Solid stone is very hard to be damaged by wind.  I have a family of five kids who I am very protective over and I want them to be safe when they cross that bridge.  So that is why I am being so crazy about this bridge.  I also have just been watching a lot of videos online that show steel bridges being rocked by the wind in similar climates.  However, if you go with the General Steel company in town I will feel much more comfortable about the situation.  I know a lot of the guys who work there and they are very respectable and know what it takes to build a strong bridge.They live in this town and they want their families to be safe just as much as I do.

Water Volleyball Can Be Dangerous

You never think that a trip to the pool is going to send you to a clinic for urgent care. Henderson, Nevada has a lot of great pools with fun stuff today, but one day last summer I got a little carried away. I had to leave during the middle of the day and head to an urgent care in Henderson all because of a game of water volleyball. I wouldn’t have blamed the doctors at the clinic if they laughed at me, but they were very nice.

urgent care HendersonI thought I would be a tough guy and jump up and stuff a spike shot by the other team. I did block the shot, I just used my face instead of my hand. The ball hit me right in the eye, and hard. I couldn’t see straight for a few seconds after taking the shot. I was glad it missed my nose, but I could feel my eye starting to swell up. Some friends of mine told me they knew about a clinic close by, and they took me to it.

When I got there I got to see the doctor pretty quickly. He inspected my eye and determined that it would simply be a black eye and nothing more. He told me to take advil for the pain and make sure I put ice on it regularly to keep the swelling down. I was just happy that nothing was broken. I was unable to swim for the next week or so, but there was still plenty of summer left. It was a fun day, but I’m glad there were competent doctors and nurses nearby to help me out.

Taking an online interview training course

I had spent the last year and a half committed to service work. I have the least bit of an idea how interviews are run now. Even though it does not seem like a long time being away for the business side of things, working in direct service really takes you out of it. Now I am looking to take an online interview training course to help me land some real jobs.

The past year and a half I have been working directly in a rural part of the world. Anything from the western culture and civilization seemed to fade a little bit away. I became part of the new environment I have recently called home.  We I never really had that much experience in interview anyways so I figured it would help me out to take this online interview training course.

I want to be able to work in a non- governmental organization. I want to be able to work in some sort of capacity that I was in supporting these rural communities. But working in an organization like this, I know I will need to have interviewing skills. I have the experience but I want to be able to articulate it to the potential hiring person.  I think that this class will help me out and ease me back into the professional office environment. I am not sure that is where I want to be but I guess I will have to find out.  I think where I can do both direct service and high level stuff will be good.

Attacked By A Mountain Lion In The San Tan Valley

An encounter with a mountain lion while hiking led me to an urgent care in San Tan recently. Obviously the attack could have been much worse, I was fortunate to escape with only minimal injuries. I had been to the urgent care in San Tan before, since it was right by my house, and I knew they’d be able to take care of me. I was right, the scratch wasn’t nearly bad enough to force a trip to the hospital, and they cleaned me up just fine.

urgent care San TanI was on one of the many hiking trails in the area just minding my own business when I accidentally stumbled upon a mountain lion eating a recent kill. I startled the big cat and he jumped back in surprise. I don’t think he meant to kill me, I think he was just scared. I froze up for a second and wasn’t sure what to do. I waved my hiking stick around and then the cat clawed at me, striking me on the arm. It then took off into some shrubs.

Back at my neighborhood clinic, my doctor took some steps to disinfect the wound. He told me it wasn’t quite deep enough to require stitches, and I was relieved. The doctor applied some bandages like a butterfly BandAge and gauze. After a couple of weeks you couldn’t even see the wound except for a very small scar. I actually kind of like the scar though, it serves as a reminder of my encounter with the beast. If you plan on hiking in the area be sure that you know what to do in case of an attack.

Todd Gets Injured On The Obstacle Course

Every year at my university we have a large obstacle course set up. The winner doesn’t get much except bragging rights, but it’s still a lot of fun. This year however, we had to take my friend Todd to the urgent care in Tempe after his run. As college students most of us don’t have much money, but the urgent care in Tempe that we go to has really reasonable rates. Because of this we headed to that location when Todd was hurt during the race.

Tood was sprinting through the course at record speed, and when he got to the tires we thought for sure he’d win it all. That’s when disaster struck. Instead of finishing first place Todd wouldn’t finish at all. He caught his foot on one of the tires and pulled his hamstring. It looked like he was in an incredible amount of pain so we rushed to his aid right away. He didn’t want to go anywhere, but I insisted he see the doctor.

It’s a good thing I took him in, he’s going to need to see a specialist to help him recover. He nearly tore a ligament in his leg and the doctor said if he hadn’t had a check he likely would have hurt it worse. Now he’ll be out of commish for a few weeks, but it’s better than having to get surgery. Next time I think he’ll make sure that he’s a little more sure footed running the course.

I am an employee at a giant automotive manufacturer in the United States and I owe a lot of thank yous to General Steel. The automotive industry in the US has been down on its luck for some time.  The city of Detroit is a perfect example of what can happen when a main driver of economic prosperity goes away. The automotive industry took a big hit when foreign car markers started producing cheaper and better guilty cars. So once that started the United States based jobs started disappearing.  Luckily I still have my job and I think I owe that to the great people at General Steel who provide cheap quality steel to our automaker.  This steel is a quality product which allows for the US automakers to stay competitive and keep our doors open.

I have a family of four that lives in Michigan and we are one hundred percent dependent on my income to survive.  My wife has to take care of the kids and the house while I am gone so she does not bring in an income.  This puts a lot of pressure on me because I am the sole breadwinner in the family.  Luckily since most of the neighborhood moved out the rent is pretty cheap and most everything else is as well.  I do not have to pay that much for groceries or utilities.  So its not that bad of a life, I just hope that General Steel keeps proving their quality product because a lot of jobs are dependent on it.
